Brothers facing charges in 3-year-old's shooting

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Two brothers accused of shooting a little girl several years ago are now facing charges.

Scharonis and Walton Wright are facing charges of attempted murder, four years to the day of the incident.

Detectives said, in June 2008, Salayah Buie, who was 3 years old at the time. was watching TV in her Deerfield Beach home when she was shot in the leg.

The suspects allegedly shot at the home in retaliation for a drug deal gone wrong. However, there was no drug dealer at the home.

Salayah has since fully recovered from her injuries.
