MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida woman, who was singing the National Anthem at a Marlins baseball game, got the surprise of her life.

Cassandra Bersach was singing on the baseball diamond at Marlins Park Tuesday night when she got a diamond of her own.

Bersach's boyfriend, Juan Gallego walked onto the baseball diamond just as she finished singing and quickly got down on one knee. Gallego asked Bersach for her hand in marriage. And her response: "Yes, Yes!"

Bersach and Gallego actually met at the Marlins Park three years ago during the groundbreaking ceremony, and they have been going to Marlins games ever since. "We had started here a couple years ago during the ground breaking, and I figured what perfect spot then to do it right back here," said Gallego.

Bersach was surprised by the whole thing. "I'm speechless. I'm still trying to figure out if this is real," said Bersach.

Bersach's parents were in the stands and saw the proposal unfold. "I'm her dad and her pastor ... I'm concerned I might have to do a wedding ceremony here at the stadium in the future," he said.

Gallego said a wedding at the park just might happen. "She's been already talking about doing the wedding and reception here. I would not be surprised if we end up back here again." he said.

Marlins officials said weddings are possible at Marlins Park. "That would be a dream come true," said Bersach.
