FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- A family from Chicago was injured when a limo crashed into a pillar in a parking garage at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Broward Sheriff's officials say the limo went out of control before the Wednesday afternoon crash. A couple and their children, ages 13 and 7, were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The 75-year-old driver was also injured.

The Miami Herald reports the driver was leaving the airport when he lost control of the 2008 Lincoln Navigator.

Deputies say the limo hit a parked car before careening into a concrete pillar. The SUV was totaled.

Investigators are trying to determine what happened.

The sheriff's office didn't release the names of the family members or the driver.
