Pricey guitar stolen from store

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A crook ran out of a music store with a an electric bas guitar worth thousands of dollars.

Cameras rolling on the robbery in progress at Music Arts Enterprises in Fort Lauderdale. A man pretends to try out the bass, even appears to be playing it, then makes a run for it.

After running out the front door, he hopped into a getaway car and sped off with the instrument valued at $4,000. "My general manager went chasing after them," said Mike Katz, the store's owner, "but they were so fast. Got in the car-- they had a get away guy-- and took off before we could even get the license tag."
