Family safe after home invasion

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A family is shaken up after three men posed as police officers and robbed their home.
According to police Miami-Dade Police, at around 1:30 a.m. Friday three men with guns robbed a house located on Southwest 312th Street and 195th Avenue.
Fidel Gonzalez, reluctant to talk to 7News, only told bits and pieces of what happened. "He had a gun to my head and told me he's robbing my house, that's it."
The five victims were sleeping when they were startled by the crooks. They managed to call police from a nearby gas station after the robbers let them go.
Authorities pulled images from the surveillance cameras at the home, which will hopefully help police catch the criminals. Detectives are on the scene investigating. Police said the house was ransacked and items were stolen.
Gonzalez, 54, has an arrest history dating from 1986 to 2007. He has been charged with cocaine possession, theft and dealing with stolen property, among other things.
Gonzalez did not describe what the men looked like. He did, however, say he did not know them.
If you have any information on this robbery, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
