DCF worker arrested

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police arrested a Department of Children & Families worker accused of having sex with an underage girl.

DCF Investigator Jean LaCroix is now in custody. Dominican customs agents stopped LaCroix after he landed in the country. Officials believe he was trying to flee the U.S. and avoid capture by police.

Police said LaCroix repeatedly had sex with a teenage girl whose child abuse case he was assigned to.
