Neighbors concerned about runway project at FLL

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Residents living close to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport are facing a decision on how to deal with new noisy neighbors.

Broward County is moving forward with plans to build a new runway at FLL. The county is offering to sound-proof nearby homes for free. Now, residents have to make a decision to either take it or leave it.

Homeowners will have just one chance to decide and must notify the county within a few weeks.
