Local company donates $50K to storm victims
MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida company is lending a helping hand to victims of Tropical Storm Debby.
JM Family Enterprises donated $50,000 to the Red Cross for relief efforts in northern Florida.
Debby dumped more than a foot of rain in the area and caused severe damage to roads.
Homes and business were also flooded out.
Governor Rick Scott has asked President Obama to declare Florida a major disaster area.
