Car slams into tree, 2 injured

MIRAMAR, Fla. (WSVN) -- Two people are hurt after a driver slammed into a tree early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened at about 4 a.m. at Miramar Parkway and Southwest 160th Avenue. Rescues airlifted the driver to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The passenger was also injured.
