Restaurant catches fire at strip mall

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Officials are investigating a fire that broke out at a restaurant Thursday morning.

The blaze occurred in the rear of Miranda Restaurant at the strip mall along East 25th Street and Ninth Avenue. Fire and police arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the blaze.

Several of the adjacent businesses sustained smoke damage.

There was no one inside the stores at the time of the fire.
