SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- A young man arrested for stabbing a South Florida parking attendant have been cleared of charges.
Authorities determined 19-year-old Juan Rodriguez attacked the worker in self-defense at Sunset Place in South Miami last month.
Officials said the attendant punched Rodriguez first in a dispute over a parking fee, causing the teen to retaliate.
Rodriguez was quick to turn himself into police later that evening.
The attendant was taken to the hospital with chest and arm wounds and released shortly after.
