Pastor's lawn equipment stolen

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the crooks stole a pastor's lawn maintenance truck from his South Florida home.

Pastor Steven Russel said someone stole his lawn maintenance truck along Northwest 173rd Terrace and 12th Avenue. "I do a lot of contributions to the community. I cut the church yards," he said. "I try to do all the things morally correct and spiritually right with God, and I've suffered a loss of thousands of dollars worth of equipment."

Russel's friend later spotted the truck on the Interstate 95 exit ramp at Ives Dairy Road but nothing was left inside.
