8 arrested in alleged burglary ring

SWEETWATER, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities have arrested eight men for their involvement in an alleged burglary ring.

The men stand accused of breaking into a Northwest Miami-Dade business along Northwest 20th Street and 112th Avenue, a few weeks ago. They stole about $80,000 worth of computers and parts, police said.

The alleged ringleader, Alois Cea-Gonzalez, is also facing battery charges after beating up a detective during questioning.
