Surveillance released of alleged burglary ring

SWEETWATER, Fla. (WSVN) -- Surveillance video captured members of a suspected burglary ring ransacking a South Florida warehouse.
The suspected thieves took about $80,000 worth of computers and parts from a warehouse located at Northwest 20th Street and 112th Avenue, two weeks ago.
Police eventually busted the accused burglars. Investigators believe this was not an isolated incident. "We know of a couple more for sure that my investigators have already known for a fact that they are part of it," said Sweetwater Police Chief Robert Fulgueira. "They are involved in it through other surveillance videos and everything else. Just so happens that my guys were able to catch them, and identify them, and now we're putting the pieces of the puzzle together. It's a big puzzle."
Eight men were arrested for their alleged roles in the burglary.
The accused mastermind is facing charges after the beating of a Sweetwater detective during questioning.
