$500 reward offered for stolen ponies

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the thieves who snatched two ponies from a children's ranch.
Wayne Herschberger runs Circle C Youth Ranch Camp in Southwest Miami-Dade, where children learn to ride and interact with horses. Herschberger adores his horses and the children who come to his camp. Now, however, Herschberger is concerned, because two of his ponies were stolen. "I drove all over the neighborhood looking for them," he said.
Herschberger said two weeks ago, a gate was left unlocked and someone came in at night and stole the ponies.
Rusty and Sundae are now missing, and Herschberger just wants them back. "We want them back really bad. The kids at camp miss them. They ask about them, 'What happened to them?' They had their favorites, and those two happen to be the favorites," he said.
Herschberger is offering a $500 reward for whomever drops off the ponies at his ranch, and no questions will be asked.
If you have any information on the missing ponies, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
