Burglary suspect silenced in bond court

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A suspected burglar appeared before a judge Saturday.

During Leon Harrigan's bond court appearance, the judge requested that he remain quiet.

Harrigan was arrested when authorities spotted him driving a stolen pickup truck, Friday morning.

When officers pulled Harrigan over, he allegedly tried to hit police with the vehicle, which forced an officer to fire.

After a short search, authorities caught up to Harrigan. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
