Man accused of impersonating cop in court

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A man accused of posing as a police officer during a pair of robberies appeared before a judge Monday.

A judge has set bond for Charles Diaz at $32,500. He faces charges of police impersonation and robbery after two incidents in Miami Beach last week.

Police said Diaz shook down three European tourists by taking their wallets while pretending to be an undercover cop.

Diaz is also accused of stealing an iPad outside an apartment building.
