Commission approves $5M to fix roof at Arsht

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade County commissioners have offered up a solution to the leaky roof at the county's performing arts center.

County commissioners approved up to $5 million for repairs to fix a leaky roof at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Back in May, heavy rains caused a pipe in the building's ceiling to burst during the "Lion King" musical.

Insurance covered some of the repairs.
