Police recover boy abducted during car-jacking
MIAMI (WSVN) -- Miami Police said they have found a 3-year-old abducted during a car-jacking in Hialeah.
Little Daniel Rivero was dropped off at a TD bank, located at 720 NW 57 Ave., on the outskirts of Miami, near Hialeah, at around 3 p.m., Wednesday. Police believe the car-jacking suspects left the child there, but they remain at large in the Mitsubishi Montero they stole.
Two adults related to the boy in some way showed up the bank and left him in their arms, just before 4 p.m. It remains if they are the parents or other relatives.
The Montero was stolen from Northwest 37th Avenue in Hialeah, just before 2 p.m., after the boy's father stopped to get ice cream, police said, leaving the child in the car. The carjackers jumped in and took off with the child. When the father came out he saw the car and the boy were both gone.
Police are still looking for the suspects in the Montero with Florida license tag T30 6JD. If you have information on the car's whereabouts, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
