Teacher faces judge after home burglary

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A Miami-Dade teacher accused of breaking into a house faced a judge.

Reina Marta Herrera appeared in court and received a $2,300 bond Wednesday.

Herrera faces burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief charges.

Herrera taught at Earlington Heights Elementary School in Northwest Miami-Dade for seven years.
