Man's body found in driveway

CUTLER BAY, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are investigating the death of a man who was found lying in a driveway.
Miami-Dade Police responded to the area of Southwest 216th Street and 98th Court inside the Montego Bay community Wednesday, at 11 p.m. According to detectives, Richard Vasallo was found lying in a driveway, a few feet from away from his car.
Police would not say how Vasallo, 25, was killed. A resident who lives in the neighborhood is concerned about his neighbor's death. "I haven't been home yet, and I saw the cop cars," said Naiel Taylor. "I mean, it's shocking. I live in this area, and I know things go on around here, a couple friends come to mind. I don't know how I feel about this. It's kind of shocking to hear."
Detectives are asking anyone who saw something to notify police. Miami-Dade Police Sergeant Julio Padron said, "If anyone that lives in the area, anyone that happened to be driving by, possibly saw any vehicles still in the area, commotion, anybody yelling, screaming, anything that was out of the ordinary, we would appreciate them calling the homicide bureau."
If you have any information on this homicide, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
