Child hospitalized after falling out of window

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. (WSVN) -- A young boy had to be hospitalized after he took a frightening fall.

The 4-year-old took at tumble from the second story of the home, located along Northwest 29th Street and 36th Terrace, Thursday afternoon.

The screen panel could be seen dangling from the open window.

The child was transported to the hospital. Authorities said he was alert and crying.
