Former officer bonds out of jail

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A former police officer has bonded out of jail and faces serious accusations.

Raul Iglesias bonded out of jail Friday. He has been accused of planting drugs on suspects, stealing drugs, and lying to federal investigators.

Iglesias pleaded not guilty and posted a $50,000 bond.

The 18-year-veteran was indicted by a federal grand jury on several counts, including violating civil rights and obstruction of justice.
