Accused perverted child abductor denied bond

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A suspect accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a child has been stopped in his tracks.

Theodore Coleman faced a judge on charges of kidnapping and assault Tuesday. He was was denied bond.

According to police, Coleman kidnapped a 13-year-old girl as she walked along Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami, Friday. He took her to his home where he sexually assaulted her and forced her to have sex with him.

The assault, police said, continued Saturday until the victim was able to escape.
