Metrorail begins service to MIA this weekend

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The Metrorail will include service to Miami International Airport very soon.

Beginning Saturday, the Metrorail will begin service from Dadeland South to the new Miami Intermodal Station, which lies just east of the airport.

The trip from Dadeland to MIA is expected to take less than 30 minutes.

The line is the first new line added to the Metrorail system since it opened in 1984.
