Getaway driver in alleged purse snatching arrested

BOCA RATON, Fla. (WSVN) -- A teen accused of driving the getaway car after a violent purse snatching has finally been caught.

Michael Russo, 19, was arrested for his part in the purse snatching, which occurred back in April.

Surveillance cameras captured Russo's alleged accomplice, 19-year-old Adam Bardisa, as he robbed two elderly sisters who were boarding a transit bus outside a Boca Raton Publix.

Bardisa was arrested shortly after the crime.

An incriminating text message on Bardisa's phone led to Russo's capture.
