Police release sketch of alleged rapist

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have released a sketch of a rapist who they said attacked a woman on Miami Beach over the weekend.

The alleged rapist is described as a white Hispanic, standing around 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 7 inches tall with a slim build.

Police said the attack occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday in the area of 77th Street and Harding Avenue. Officials said the man came up behind the 19-year-old, pushing her to the ground before raping her.

Paramedics transported the victim to the rape treatment center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
