School uniforms donated to family after home ransacked

COCONUT GROVE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida business is lending a helping hand to a family after their home was ransacked and robbed while on vacation.
The Jenkins family has a reason to smile. Majestic Uniforms in Tamarac provided Terrence and Tierre with over $200 worth of school uniforms after their clothes were stolen while they were away on a family vacation. "Whoever did it took our new school uniforms, and we would just like to thank Majesty Uniforms for helping us with the uniforms we're getting," said Terrence.
Sherry Henry said, "Thank you so much, I really appreciate it, really, really do from the bottom of my heart."
The family returned from Texas to find their home near Southwest 37th Avenue and Charles Terrace, in Coconut Grove, ransacked.
The thieves took TVs, gaming systems and jewelry. "We work hard for everything we have. It really hurts," Henry said.
The family was in Houston, where both children were competing in the junior Olympics.
Nicole Bailey saw their story Sunday night, and she and her family's business decided to pitch in. "When I saw the story, it was so heartfelt. I don't think the kids should suffer, so I'm glad I can help. The whole family is pleased to help," said Bailey.
The children said they are happy with their new clothes and are thankful for the store's generosity.
The business is just happy to help the family and hope they can get back on their feet. "We still care. There are a lot of people out there who still care, I am happy my family could help," Bailey said.
Police are still looking for the person or person's responsible for the robbery. If you have any information that can help bring justice to this family, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
