MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- The most expensive home in Miami-Dade County up for sale has been sold for $47 million.

The luxury home is 30,000 square feet with 10 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and was sold by Jill Hertzberg and Jill Eber of the Jills. "It's the Olympics this week and Phelps got his gold, and we have our 3 Indian Creek," said Jill Eber.

The property was sold to an overseas buyer for cash who was not identified.

The home is one of the top five listed properties in all of Miami-Dade County. "The product that is coming out now is very different than what was here before. It's a much more sophisticated look," said Jill Hertzberg.

The average home in Miami-Dade County, according to the realty website zillow.com, is at 2008 levels. When the economy crashed, the Jills said the luxury homes in the county are better then 2005 levels and said 2012 has been the best year they have ever seen. "Miami has become an international destination, and people used to just got to New York to spend these kind of dollars, but now it's on with New York," said Hertzberg.

Miami has become an international city accepting international buyers as well as the elite from all over the county.

The most expensive condo is listed on South Beach, at the Continuum Hotel for $39 million.
