Mercury spill sends 2 to hospital

SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- Two people had to be hospitalized after possibly coming into contact with mercury.

A small amount of mercury spilled from a blood pressure machine inside a doctor's office at Southwest 61st Court and Sunset Drive, at around noon Friday.

The two people were transported to Baptist Hospital as a precaution.
