Parents face judge for child neglect charges

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Two parents accused of allowing their children to live in awful conditions faced a judge.

Renee Marie Garcia and Gabriel De Jesus Orellana have been charged with child neglect.

Garcia also faces a prostitution charge after allegedly offering to have sex with an undercover officer for money.

Police found their four children living in awful conditions inside their Miami apartment.

Authorities placed the kids in their grandmother's custody.
