Family escapes house fire

LAUDERHILL, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida family was forced out of their home after a fire.

Flames sparked inside the garage of the home along the 7200 block of Northwest 48th Court Friday morning.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the garage but the inside sustained smoke damage.
