Another hhgregg store burglarized

AVENTURA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are looking for at least six people they say are involved in two local hhgregg burglaries.

The latest burglary happened just before 5 a.m. Thursday at the store on Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 199th Street, in Aventura. "They come to the front door, they hit it very quickly," said Aventura Police Major Skip Washa. "They're all dressed in black, they have masks on, they don't care about the cameras in the store. They identify beforehand exactly what they're looking for, so they waste no time, they go right in the store."

Police believe the same crooks broke into a hhgregg store at West 20th Avenue and 36th Street in Hialeah last week.

Police said the motive in both burglaries is the same. "They've been hitting all over the state and their MO is exactly the same. They're very, very, very well organized, they know exactly what they want to do," said Washa.

The recent burglary shut down hhgregg for hours this morning, but they have since reopened for business.

Aventura Police said they have store surveillance video, and they expect to release it soon.

If you have any information on the two burglaries, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
