Adrienne Arsht Center flood damage to cost $3.8M

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade County is facing a big bill to repair the Adrienne Arsht Center.

The county will pay an estimated $3.8 million to fix the roof at the center. Flooding forced a crowd of nearly 2,500 people out during a performance of "The Lion King" in May.

In a memo, the mayor said the county is seeking reimbursement from insurance carriers.
