Armed suspect arrested after standoff

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A tense standoff lead to the arrest of a suspected shooter, police said.

The man barricaded himself inside the Hayden Hall Hotel on Collins Avenue, Thursday morning. The SWAT team surrounded the property until he came out.

Police said one of the men arrested was connected with last night's shooting at the Gulfstream Apartments in Dania Beach.

No one was injured in that shooting.
