3 behind bars after boat chase

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Three men are behind bars Friday morning after firing shots at police officers.

Police arrested Joseph Shephard, 37, 25-year-old Mark Hartman and 24-year-old Lee Hartman after they used a boat to flee from police while exchanging gunfire.

The men had been shooting at ducks in a canal along Southwest 74th Avenue and Eighth Street in Miami when an off-duty officer heard the shots and called police.
