Surveillance released of Papa John's robbery

WESTON, Fla. (WSVN) -- Deputies are searching for the thieves who robbed a South Florida pizza restaurant.
Surveillance video captured two masked men walking into the back door of Papa John's, located on Indian Trace in Weston on Tuesday.
One suspect could be seen carrying a gun and pointing it at the manager. The man then grabbed a pizza delivery bag and escorted the manager to the cash register. "Under that kind of pressure, when you have a gun pointed at you, he did a remarkable job," said Broward Sheriff's Office spokesperson Veda Coleman-Wright.
According to the manager, he listened to the crooks' demands and handed them money. Deputies said the crooks stuffed the pizza bag with the cash and left through the back door.
Coleman-Wright said they want to catch the suspects before they strike again. "We want to get them identified before someone is seriously hurt," she said.
The manager said an employee accidentally left the back door unlocked.
If you have any information on this robbery, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
