Crooks burglarize spy shop

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police believe the burglars who broke into a spy shop are the same crooks responsible for burglaries at two other electronic stores.
The burglary happened at about 5:25 Sunday morning at Spytrix at 13744 Biscayne Blvd. Surveillance video captured the men as they approached the store and smashed into the front glass window.
The five masked subjects dressed in all black, wearing hoods, filed into the business, each holding pillowcases, filling them with merchandise. Surveillance cameras captured the men as they made two trips into the store, stealing thousands of dollars worth of electronics in five minutes.
Owner, Josefina Capriles, arrived to the store that she has run for 13 years in shambles. "Everything here, I had binoculars, binoculars night vision, I had voice changers, everything was here," she said, while pointing to empty shelves.
Investigators told the owner it appears there are similarities to the burglaries from two hh gregg's in Hialeah and Aventura last month.
Capriles has since boarded up her store and is taking inventory of everything that was stolen.
She hopes someone recognizes the black and white vehicles that the robbers drove away in.
The store's alarm system was not operating at the time of the robbery.
If you have any information on this burglary , call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
