Couple robbed at gunpoint, 1 injured

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities are investigating an armed robbery where one of the victim's was shot.

The robbery occurred Sunday at a home near Third Avenue and West 14th Street. According to Hialeah Police, the couple returned home, where they were ambushed by two crooks and robbed at gunpoint.

At some point during the robbery, one victim was shot in the arm. Rescue crews transported that person to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Both robbers fled on foot to a waiting car.
