Police: Driver backs into wireless store

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are investigating a crash where a driver backed into a cell phone store.

The crash occurred at about 7:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Wireless Toyz store on 135th Street and West Dixie Highway.  Investigators said it appears that the driver of a stolen Nissan Maxima deliberately backed into the store in an attempt to rob it.

The store was not open for business at the time of the crash.

A tow truck is on scene to remove the vehicle.
