LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities said several bales of drugs washed ashore Friday morning.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene along El Mar Drive and Pine Avenue.
Police said four small bales containing marijuana washed ashore.
A witness said he spotted a man grabbing one of them and then walking away.
Deputies later arrested 48-year-old Reginaldo Azevedo, after he admitted to stealing a bale. He was charged with tampering with evidence and possession of THC.
