No injuries in police-involved crash

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida police officer and civilian are OK after their cars collided.

The accident happened Sunday at about 5:30 p.m. on Bird Road and Southwest 27th Avenue. A 7News viewer took a picture of the crash. The impact caused significant damage to the front bumper of the cruiser and smashed the side of the civilian's vehicle.

Both cars were towed from the scene and no one was injured.
