Tenants of condemned building move forward

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Tenants at a South Florida apartment building are trying to move on after being forced to move out.
The last of the residents returned to the building along Northwest Ninth Avenue and West Flagler Street in Little Havana to pick up the rest of their belongings.
Monday, they were told they had to evacuate their homes after code enforcement deemed the building unsafe. "We have to move away," said Cuoeki Almeda who lived in the building. "They gave us just 10 minutes yesterday, and today I'm coming to pick up my own stuff. I'm staying in a shelter because I have nowhere else to go."
On Tuesday, FPL shut power to the building. The city said they will offer assistance to those who have nowhere to go.
