Bal Harbor Shops to expand

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Luxury lovers rejoice, the Bal Harbour Shops is expanding.

The owners of the shopping center signed a deal with the adjoining Church by the Sea to acquire the church's property in order to add retail space.

In exchange, the Bal Harbour Shops will build the church a new eco-friendly building on another corner of the property.

The popular shopping center is already home to more than 100 luxury retailers.
