OPA-LOCKA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Officials have discovered a grow house in a South Florida neighborhood.

Police discovered hundreds of marijuana plants along with a fully functional hydroponics lab inside a home along Northwest 20th Avenue and Wilmington Street in Opa-Locka, Tuesday.

The bust was made with the help of several agencies. "Our detectives obtained a search warrant that led us to this house," said Opa-Locka Police Department Chief Antonio Sanchez. "As a result of executing that search warrant, we have recovered a substantial amount of marijuana plants that were obviously being cultivated for growth and further sale."

No one was inside the home.
