Obama makes surprise visit at burger joint

SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- President Barack Obama made a surprise visit at a local burger restaurant after campaigning at the University of Miami.

President Obama made a quick visit to OMG Burgers on Sunset Place Thursday afternoon after addressing a large Latino television audience at UM.

Obama sat down with three UM students and talked about tuition prices and student loans and shared a plate of French fries.

A worker at the restaurant did not expect his visit. "I'm still ... I haven't come back to my body yet, I'm still flying around. I will be back," said the employee.

Secret service agents inspected the restaurant earlier to make sure it was secure for the president.

Nearby shoppers snapped pictures of the president as he was leaving.
