Former N. Miami Beach mayor arrested

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A former South Florida mayor has been arrested.

Former North Miami Beach Mayor Myron Rosner is facing a slew of charges from grand theft to accepting illegal contributions in his failed, 2011 re-election bid.

Prosecutors said the charges stem from allegations Rosner failed to properly report advertising bought on bus benches for his campaign.

The allegations were investigated by Miami-Dade Police and the County's ethics commission.
