Explosion leads to discovery of hydroponics lab

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Crews have demolished a South Florida home that exploded over the weekend after a hydroponics lab was discovered.

The explosion occurred Saturday morning at a home along Southwest 63rd Terrace and 151st Place. Residents notified police and upon arrival, narcotics detectives discovered the hydroponics lab and several marijuana plants inside the home.

The structure was deemed unsafe and has since been demolished.

So far, no arrests have been made, and there is no word on what caused the blast.
