Mother in RV attack headed to trial

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A woman who, prosecutors claim, did nothing to stop a gruesome and deadly attack against her children is headed to trial.

Jury selection is underway in the trial against Deanna de Jesus. She stands charged with aggravated manslaughter and child neglect, stemming from the attack.

According to prosecutors, her husband stabbed the couple's two sons after taking the family hostage inside a Deerfield Beach RV park on Feb. 9.

One son died, and her husband killed himself.
