Woman's body found at recycling plant

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are investigating after a woman's body was found at a waste management site.
Miami-Dade Police responded to a recycling plant site, located at 3401 NW 110 St., Tuesday morning after an employee discovered the body.
Police believe the woman is between the ages of 18 to 20 years old. They have not released many details yet and are not confirming the woman's identity. "All we have so far that I can tell you is that we have a white female. I can't tell you the age. All that is being investigated by homicide," said a Miami-Dade Police Major Gary Jennington.
Nearby businesses are stunned by the discovery. "It is our first time we have been here, close to six months, and it's our first time that we hear something like that," said a worker.
Police have only confirmed that the deceased was not an employee from the recycling plant.
The body was transported to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the female's identity and cause of death.
Police continue to investigate.
